Pleistophora, Neon disease
Identified by lighter colored areas of the fish, milky dull regions, which otherwise appear transparent. The fish seem listless and sometimes reel uncontrollably. The disease is caused by the parasite, Pleistophora hyphessobryconis and is a microspora. Diseased fish should be removed at once! The aquarium should be completely emptied and disinfected with JBL Desinfekt (Link zur Produktseite). There is no treatment for the disease.
