Product information

All invertebrates in freshwater aquariums (crayfish, shrimps, snails) need minerals to grow. Crustaceans regularly shed their skin shell because it does not grow. This moulting process is a very strenuous, dangerous time for the animals, as it leaves them unprotected and vulnerable. The clay mineral montmorillonite contained in JBL Nano-Crusta has been proven to be extremely helpful in shell formation. Particularly in soft water, crayfish and snails need the addition of minerals to the water, as this water contains hardly any minerals. Snails do not shed their shell, but they also need a certain mineral content in the water to grow it.

FAQ
I can’t get a drop out of the JBL NanoCrusta bottle. The product has become encrusted in the neck of the bottle.

JBL NanoCrusta is a product which contains finely ground natural minerals. We recommend you shake the bottle vigorously before every use, to loosen the sediments. Ensure that the bottle is in a vertical position for the application. If the dosing device remains blocked, pierce the sediments inside the channel with a fine needle.

Does the water go cloudy after the application of JBL NanoCrusta?

JBL NanoCrusta contains clay minerals, which initially lead to a whitish clouding of the water. After a few hours it settles and the water turns crystal clear. If this is not the case, please check

a) if JBL NanoCrusta has been overdosed, and
b) if the current in the aquarium is too strong and needs to be reduced.

At home I have multiple shrimp tanks. This food is an outcome if you focus on shrimp only. Shrimp don't need much food, so the small package makes this product ideal!

PUSH messages from JBL

What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).

Web notifications are part of the W3C standard and define an API for end user notifications. A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event, such as a new blog post, outside the context of a website.

JBL GmbH & Co. KG provides this service free of charge, and it is easy to activate or deactivate.
