Merry Christmas from the JBL Team

I feel like it was only a few weeks ago I was writing this for 2020. But 365 days have already passed and we can look back on an eventful and positive year. Not only have we expanded our videos on YouTube for you, but also presented products and highlighted special moments of the hobby on TikTok and Instagram in moving images in short videos. The responses from the #myJBL community show us you like them.

Every day we create blog posts, FAQs and advice columns for you, answer questions with our team of experts in the Customer service center and provide help on social media. Everything to make your hobby run seamlessly as you keep your animals in a biotope-like, species-appropriate way.

We draw our energy from your positive feedback, your great interest in our products and the many beautiful moments that you share of your hobby on social media - of which we are a part. We use this positive energy to continuously develop our products with high quality manufacturing and thus make an important contribution to your hobby.

This year Stella Kaltenmeier-Böhme joined the management of our company. This means that JBL is already in the hands of the 3rd generation of the family. I would like to send you the following lines directly:

"One year has now passed since I took over the management of JBL and I can look back on an eventful and creative year. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for your loyalty to the brand.

Instead of Christmas cards: This year we have once again decided to support the families of children with cancer in the region, through a donation to the DLFH (Deutsche Leukämie-Forschungs-Hilfe - German Leukaemia Research Aid).

We wish you a Merry Christmas, all good things and look forward to a successful 2022 together with you!"

Now I would also like to thank you and wish you and your loved ones a merry Christmas and peaceful days as the year comes to its close. Make the most of the time to enjoy your hobby, to relax and for everything else that is close to your heart.

With best regards from Neuhofen on behalf of the entire JBL team,

Matthias Wiesensee

PUSH messages from JBL

What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).

Web notifications are part of the W3C standard and define an API for end user notifications. A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event, such as a new blog post, outside the context of a website.

JBL GmbH & Co. KG provides this service free of charge, and it is easy to activate or deactivate.
