The Master School of Aquarium Design 2019: Apply Now

The Master School of Aquarium Design has become an integral part of the aquaristics scene.

Whether you are a beginner or advanced aquarist, you share the dream of a perfect underwater landscape in your home. And this event is for you.

You may have seen a magnificent underwater landscape on the Internet or in a trade magazine and wished that your aquarium at home could look a little bit more like it. We have engaged some underwater garden experts for the Master School of Aquarium Design. For two whole days, from 06 - 07 April 2019, you can join nine other apprentices to learn the craft of aquarium design from five aquarium design masters at the TIERWELT Magdeburg 2019.

Not only will you get to know the scene’s stars personally, you’ll also learn lots of tricks and tips for setting up a biotope aquarium, a classic aquascape or a normal community aquarium. Let your imagination become reality and inspire the visitors to the fair with the result!

This action is supported by the companies Tropica Aquarium Plants , Juwel Aquarium and JBL . You’ll have the chance to network with industry figures and to go as deep as you like into the world of aquarium design. Don’t miss it!

The competition team will be with you every step of the way for questions and help. We’re absolutely convinced this will be an event to remember.

Even if you aren’t allocated a place on the workshop, you can still drop by and work at the open table which will be located at the same stand, and network with the masters and apprentices that way.

PUSH messages from JBL

What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).

Web notifications are part of the W3C standard and define an API for end user notifications. A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event, such as a new blog post, outside the context of a website.

JBL GmbH & Co. KG provides this service free of charge, and it is easy to activate or deactivate.
