Product information

Nature at Home – Home for tropical reef dwellers
Lower animals and corals need to feel as much at home in the aquarium as they do in nature. Convert the aquarium water into biotope water and provide your animals with a regular supply of minerals and trace elements. Also for the water change and the setting-up.

For the supply of all calcifying organisms
JBL CalciuMarin is an easily-soluble mineral salt mixture containing calcium, strontium and hydrogen carbonate in the same proportions as naturally occur in the sea. It is therefore highly suitable for providing all calcific organisms in the salt-water aquarium (calcareous algae, corals, shellfish etc.) with all the vital elements needed for lime synthesis. At the same time, the pH levels are stabilised and carbonate hardness is held at the ideal level of 12-15° dKH.

FAQ
How long should I wait between dosing calcium and magnesium?

One measuring spoonful each of JBL CalciuMarin’s components 1 and 2 increases the calcium content in 50 l water by approx. 20 mg/l. Always use both components in the same amount! First add component 1, wait 10 minutes, then add component 2. Add JBL MagnesiuMarin to increase the magnesium content (50 ml increases the magnesium content in 50 l of water by 50 mg/l) also at 10 minute intervals.

How do I add calcium and magnesium to the aquarium?

The required amount should always be added at a point with a strong current. In this way the liquid spreads quickly without injuring corals. If you’re using powders, you should dose via the filter chamber or dissolve them in a larger quantity of water beforehand. Please note that large quantities in small amounts of water may not dissolve sufficiently or even cause precipitation. The finished solution is also added at a point where there is a strong current. Particles that settle on the corals can cause damage to the tissue, so do not apply the products directly over corals.

PUSH messages from JBL

What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).

Web notifications are part of the W3C standard and define an API for end user notifications. A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event, such as a new blog post, outside the context of a website.
