#jblinside - Max the Sales Rep on the Road

A fortnight ago, JBL intern Moritz took you on his three-day field trip. Together with Max (regional key account manager) and true to the motto "Max and Moritz on Tour", Moritz got to know the products and specialist shops from a completely different perspective. If you’d like to read the post again, you can click on the following link:  The JBL Intern - On The Road With The Sales Force .

Since this article met with great interest from the myJBL Community, Max has considered expanding the topic further and sharing his insights and everyday work with you. The personal video message below gives his first insights and shows what you can expect in the future. You can find more content on Instagram and TikTok under the hashtag  #jblinside  and follow them live.

In the first post by Max, the journey starts at the Obi DIY store in Bad Hersfeld. Besides planning a Christmas promotion area, which we will report about next week on social media, he meets some nice employees and Ute. Ute is a Skalar, was handed in almost 6 years ago and has been lovingly cared for by the staff ever since. Due to her appearance and her past she is really "special", but can look forward to her old days in good health. Afterwards we drive on to Domstadt Zoo Fritzlar team, who will also personally introduce themselves in the next weeks. Why are we mentioning this? Apart from the numerous fish, you’ll also find little monkeys here, which we wouldn’t want you to miss. However, JBL not only looks after bricks and mortar pet shops on site, it also deals with online retailers such as Der-Zoo-Shop in Schauenburg, so that questions and complaints can be dealt with to everyone's satisfaction. A varied day with a wide range of customers, which also included local offers and deals, as seen in the example of Zoohaus Haindl in the north-west centre of Frankfurt. We’ll round off the day by showing you what it means to place "only" three new products on a shelf. At the Dehner Garten-Center in Frankfurt a complete shelf is being converted for this purpose.

Would you say there’s no pet shop near you? We often hear this, but is it really true? We bet we have a lot of partners in your area you don’t even know and that you’ll get to know them in the future. This new article format gives dealers and pet shops the chance to introduce themselves personally and us the opportunity to share insights and inform you about promotions, display aquariums for inspiration and pass on interesting insights into the day to day work of our team at your location. We’ll also include Frequently Asked Questions and background knowledge here. Are you familiar with our Shop Locator Function? It’s another way to find great JBL partners in your area:  Shop Locator .

Let us know what you think about this new series and also pass on your requests to our team.

PUSH messages from JBL

What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).

Web notifications are part of the W3C standard and define an API for end user notifications. A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event, such as a new blog post, outside the context of a website.

JBL GmbH & Co. KG provides this service free of charge, and it is easy to activate or deactivate.
