Sadly, once again in 2021, we were unable to surprise you and other keen hobbyists with samples or products at local fairs and events. As soon as we can, we’ll be there again and are already looking forward to our face to face chats.
What awaits you in 2022 - Spoiler
We can't just wait and hope for the best. That's why we have come up with two new projects for 2022 that will enable individualised exchanges and knowledge transfers digitally and very agreeably. In addition, the next 18 JBL TV episodes are already in the starting blocks ( JBL TV Titles and Schedules ).
As if that isn't enough, extensive additions will be made to the Themeworld and additional functions will be added to help you steadily grow your knowledge and give you a point of contact for solutions when problems arise.
Along with this, you can also expect innovations in the fields of myJBL and Service . Mobile use enables some new functions that would have been inconceivable on the classic PC. We will exploit this to further enhance your brand experience with JBL and expand the myJBL world with new and useful features.
Of course, you can also expect a number of innovations on the product level. I cannot reveal everything here and can only reassure you that you will be thrilled. Attentive readers have already discovered the biggest novelty. The new JBL PRONOVO food range is just around the corner. Not only 245 articles with new recipes, sustainable ingredients and new packaging sizes and formats await you, but a holistic and very comprehensive species food concept, adapted to the needs of your fish. Prebiotics, high acceptance, best natural and sustainable raw ingredients as well as a new click doser are only a few details of the new JBL PRONOVO species food. You will find all further details and information shortly on our product page as well as on the social media sites and in the JBL blog. The first details are already in our current catalogue: Manuals (catalogue) .
What happened in 2021 - Facts
Last year was marked by corona and some of the problems it caused in terms of availability and procurement. Luckily, hardly any of this affected you. Nevertheless, we were able to launch numerous new products. In addition to the popular gravel cleaners and products for water changes in the JBL PROCLEAN range (more on this under Gravel cleaning ), the CO2 range JBL PROFLORA (more on this under PROFLORA CO2 plant care ) was the last sensation of 2021, along with the many little tweaks and innovations that we always mark for you in the Products & Shop as new items or via our communication in the Newsletter or JBL’s social media presences.
On a technical level we were able to expand numerous features on the JBL website, and we also added lots of new texts and photos for our products and the Themeworlds. And in 2021 we also quietly managed to come up with the following goodies:

- approx. 20-25 stories per day

But if you think that’s all, think again! Last year JBL hired 49 new employees, issued numerous certificates for ten and twenty year periods of service and, in addition to a continuous modernisation in all our business areas, completely renewed our liquid production and equipped it with state-of-the-art facilities. Numerous expansions and innovations have also been introduced to our manual work, packaging, and feed production sections. This is how we ensure that your highest expectations of quality and standards are met. This is how we are able to withstand enormous market pressures and fulfil your expectations by delivering adequate quantities of the freshest products without long storage times. As soon as the corona regulations allow, we from Online Marketing will use video clips and short introductions to inform you about these areas.
And finally, the most important step towards the future, was the handover of the company into the hands of Stella Kaltenmeier-Böhme, the daughter of the managing director Roland Böhme. The company is thus in the 3rd generation of the Böhme family and is managed by both managing directors together.
