The JBL Intern - We Shoot Videos! Do You?

Hi everyone!

As you’ll have noticed, shooting short videos for our social media channels is an integral part of our daily routine.

Every day we provide you with insights from the company and products in use.

Since this usually needs to be done quickly, we only use a smartphone, a gimbal (DJI) and a small tripod (DJI) for this. Amazingly, this works perfectly well for short and snappy videos!

Before I started at JBL, I didn’t have much experience with film making, but I can report that regular use quickly familiarises you with the technology and you can achieve good results really easily. Check out our social media channels and see for yourself!

Every now and then we used a drone (DJI). They’re great for looking at things from a different angle, and they’re not rocket science to operate.

Once the individual scenes have been shot, we put it all together for the final cut.

Here, too, you only need a cell phone. This is relatively easy with the DJI Mimo app. Texts, transitions, music, ... are installed in no time and the finished video can be shared immediately on TikTok Instagram and  Facebook .

Take my advice: grab your smartphone and have a go!
