JBL’s new CO₂/pH Permanent Test – one you can't do without!

Now, the new JBL CO₂/pH Permanent Test Set Test is able to indicate the carbon dioxide level of the water directly in mg/l. This ensures accurate information at all times, independently of the substances in the water influencing pH, such as humic acid or nitrate. The indicator is designed for a long service life, so that it should only need to be replaced every 3 – 4 weeks. Accordingly, the enclosed indicator lasts 9 – 12 months and can be purchased individually as an accessory.

The optimum CO₂ level in freshwater aquariums is 20 – 25 mg/l. If the pH continuous indication of the test is being used, it is important to know that it is only fully accurate if no substances influencing pH such as pH Minus or peat have been added to the water.

The new JBL Permanent CO₂ plus pH test kit enables every aquarium enthusiast to check whether their plants really have enough CO₂ available as a staple food and, perhaps, to also check whether the pH-value is in the desired range.
