Podcast: Is water testing in the aquarium really necessary?

JBL biologist and expedition leader Heiko Blessin was interviewed in the  my-fish Podcast about how he came to aquaristics and why an aquarium owner should test water. Heiko Blessin explains which water tests need to be carried out regularly and which only when problems occur. He clearly describes how the nitrogen cycle works and what measures should be taken to correct inappropriate values. His experiences with "Starting an aquarium” are particularly relevant, as there is so much opposing information on this topic in the world of aquaristics. The podcast lasts 23 minutes and is of value for beginners and advanced aquarists alike!

If you want to learn more about it, you’ll find a lot about the different Water values and the Testing water in the JBL Themeworld.
