When adding the water be careful not to disturb the substrate. The stones should no longer float once the substrate has been washed out with warm water, as this is a sign that the rinse was not carried out. Using a plate helps to distribute the water jet evenly. The substrate is very light and helps the plants to grow. To prevent the plants from floating upwards at the beginning, the substrate needs to have a depth of at least 5 cm. JBL PROSCAPE PLANTIS also help to fix the plants in place. An initial floating of the plants also occurs with sand and gravel and can only be prevented with this aid.
