When do you need to add a water conditioner to the pond?
The addition of a water conditioner (such as JBL BiotoPond) in the pond always takes place before or during the addition of fresh water. This ensures that heavy metals and chlorine are bound immediately and do not harm the fish. The components float in the water and are waiting for potentially harmful compounds on to which they immediately dock. Adding them later could kill your fish, as the contact time with the aggressive substances is too long.
