  • There is no phosphate in the water. Why should I use JBL PhosEx Pond Filter?

Phosphate is the limiting substance to control the algae growth in the garden pond. The value should be under 0.05 mg/l. In limnology (freshwater science) values of 0.035 mg/l are given. _x000D_ Many tests for phosphate don’t dissolve or don’t dissolve sufficiently in this measuring range. _x000D_ Also if phosphate can’t be detected with those tests, it gets constantly over fish food, plant remains or material entry through wind into the garden pond. If there are algae the phosphate is mainly bound in them and cannot be detected. For the permanent limitation of the phosphate content the application of JBL PhosEx Pond filter is useful.

  • Can I use several anti-algae agents together in the pond?

Each JBL anti-algae agent has a special purpose. It is therefore not necessary to use several AlgoPond products at the same time. Use AlgoPond Green to combat green water. Use AlgoPond forte for thread algae and all other types of algae. If you want to change the product, allow a time interval of 14 days, a water change of at least 50 % and filtering via activated carbon. The products StabiloPond and PhosEx may, of course, be used together with an AlgoPond algae agent according to the 1-2-3 algae-free principle.

PUSH messages from JBL

What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event outside the context of a website, such as a new blog post, a competition or a voucher.

These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).
