ProScan – my analysed results to compare the water values

A single measurement is good but several measurements are better. Not only the current situation is relevant, any fluctuations and changes in the biological system are also interesting and will help you to recognize and therefore to prevent problems at an early stage.

That’s why ProScape dosage calculator allows you to create in your myJBL account aquariums and ponds and to save the relevant water values in these profiles. That’s the principle on which the popular ProScan app is based. It assigns your measurements to the respective aquarium and pond profiles and evaluates them in the history function in the form of a graph. This helps you to monitor your water values exactly.

In the app you can view your last five measurements with their dates. In your myJBL account on the JBL homepage under My Analyses all your measurements are available in a structured format. The conventional water analysis sheet ( Professional analysis with JBL ) which is enclosed with every test case as an online document.

And should a problem arise you can retrieve the important measurements quickly and easily for your specialist adviser.

At the end of 2016 we are extending our portfolio of services so that you will have the opportunity to transfer the measurements back and forth flexibly between your smartphone and your myJBL account. The current data exchange between the ProScan app and your JBL online profile is unidirectional. That means that the communication only works in one direction, namely from the app to your JBL account. You can now look forward to the bidirectional extension of the data reconciliation.

Small hint for the data reconciliation: all measured values need to be successfully transferred before you can change your access data to the myJBL profile. If you change your password ( Forgot my password ) or further settings beforehand your open measurement values won’t be transferred successfully anymore and this will lead to a sync error. Is this the case, you will need to delete the profiles in the app, to logout and to create the profiles again.

PUSH messages from JBL

What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).

Web notifications are part of the W3C standard and define an API for end user notifications. A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event, such as a new blog post, outside the context of a website.
