JBL protects pH electrodes

Everyone who operates pH electrodes on a permanent basis, e.g. for pH control devices, knows that they become slightly dirty or become covered with algae as well in the course of time. This leads to measuring deviations and makes regular cleaning indispensable.

Ideas and suggestions from aquarium enthusiasts on JBL's Facebook page led to the concept of protecting the electrodes from light and water agitation. Namely, a pH electrode will not indicate constant values in the presence of water agitation. The two heater protection elements (60433 & 60431) are available as spare parts for around €3.50.
