Maintenance and cleaning
Feed and plant remains and metabolic products pollute the aquarium water. Cleaning the tank and accessories and performing regular partial water changes take care of the dwellers and help you enjoy your aquarium more.

The JBL Clean A even dissolves most stubborn lime-scale on the outside of all aquarium panes.

Effortless cleaning
Spray on pane and wipe it dry with a soft lint-free cloth. Repeat, if required. In case of lime deposits allow several minutes to soak in before wiping off the deposit. In case of lime scales over the water level in the aquarium spray directly on the cloth and wipe away the deposits.

Clean A sometimes has a more or less pronounced greenish or bluish colour? Why is that ?

Clean A contains a colouring agent in very low quantities as a colour distinction against clear liquids. Under the influence of light this colouring agent changes its colour inside the cleaning solution. This has absolutely no effects on the product quality.

JBL Ceramic air stone: After 6-8 weeks my ceramic air stone no longer works properly although the diaphragm pump is fully functional.

It is likely that the ceramic air stone is dirty and the pores are blocked. Please put it inside JBL BioClean. After that it should work properly again.

How do I clean a CO2 reaction vessel properly?

Cleaning needs to be done by hand. A dishwasher may damage the plastic. Use a washing-up brush, bottle brush or the JBL WishWash instead. JBL PROCLEAN POWER or JBL PROCLEAN AQUA can be used as a cleaning solution to remove coarse dirt beforehand.
