Product information

The freshly hatched Artemia crustaceans (nauplii) briefly feed on their yolk sac. Once this is used up, they need micro algae as food. JBL ArtemioFluid contains homogenised phytoplankton (algae) and other vital nutrients and is the ideal nutrition for brine shrimp. It significantly increases their nutritional value as food for young fish, in the same way as a bun filled with vegetables would have a significantly higher nutritional value than an "empty" bun.

If you want to cultivate Artemia eggs, you need to put the eggs into saltwater. JBL ArtemioSal has been designed to create this saltwater. The small Artemia crustaceans hatch inside and then provide perfect live food for your aquarium fish. The micro algae included in the salt mixture serve as food for the freshly hatched crustaceans.

Making your own live food has several advantages:
- Parasite-free
- High in fibre
- No need to catch in ponds
- Promotes the fish's hunting instinct
- Increases spawning readiness
- Simple, quick and convenient
- Cheap alternative to frozen food

It’s fun:
- Add salt to the water
- Put the Artemia eggs into the saltwater
- Wait until the brine shrimps have hatched
- Strain the brine shrimps into a sieve
- Ready for feeding

FAQ
How long does the food keep after opening?

Please ensure you buy a packaging size suitable for your aquarium/terrarium/pond so that the quantity contained is used up within 4 months. Compare it with a tin of biscuits lying around for several months. When properly stored they are not necessarily soggy, but they are not quite as tasty as when the packet was opened. Therefore it is not advisable to use the food after this time.

The repeated opening and closing of the packaging brings the food into contact with bacteria and humidity over a longer storage period. Thus the quality of the premium food reduces continuously and this influences the vitamin content and the freshness of the food. For the benefit of your animals you always should feed them fresh food.

Comment from JBL:

Hi Sara,

just shake it before using it. Than you souldn't have the problem with the lumps.

PUSH messages from JBL

What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).

Web notifications are part of the W3C standard and define an API for end user notifications. A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event, such as a new blog post, outside the context of a website.
