Carbon dioxide (CO2) is the main food for your aquarium plants. However, there is always a lack of CO2 in an aquarium, so that the plants are inhibited in their growth. With the help of a CO2 system you can supply your plants with enough CO2 so that they can grow vigorously and healthily. You have the choice between a complete starter system ( PROFLORA CO2 BASIC ), a complete system with night switch-off ( PROFLORA CO2 ADVANCED ) and one in which the CO2 content and thus also the pH value of your aquarium water is automatically and optimally adjusted ( PROFLORA CO2 PROFESSIONAL ). Each of these systems is available with a disposable CO2 storage cylinder or with a refillable reusable cylinder. The PROFESSIONAL version is also available without a storage cylinder.
