  • To adapt the pH value and the carbonate hardness to the needs of the fish and invertebrates in fresh and marine water aquariums
  • Rapidly raises and stabilises the pH value by increasing the carbonate hardness (KH)
  • Use in freshwater: can be used as often as needed to raise the carbonate hardness in too soft water to the desired value. Maximal increase of the pH value to 8.5
  • Use in saltwater: adjusts the carbonate hardness to the natural ocean value of 10 to 12 °d KH and thus adjusts the required pH value of 8.0 to 8.4
  • Package contents: 1 bottle pH/KH booster. To use: 10 ml/40 l water. Results in an increase of approximately 1° dKH and a stable pH value

  • Why do the CO2 bubbles not dissipate after a new installation or cleaning?

    After a new installation, the bubbles will only flow slowly through the reactor and will partially combine to form large bubbles. The device requires a running-in period of approx. 48 hours! Only then will a biofilm have formed on the surface of the device, allowing the bubbles to pass through to the top without any problems. After the running-in period, set the bubble rate required for your aquarium.

  • Why doesn't the thermometer stick to the window?

    Please clean the glass thoroughly before installing the thermometer. Algae, biofilms, and limescale can prevent it from sticking properly. If the thermometer still does not stick, there may be a problem with the suction cup itself. Due to a material defect, some suction cups have bubble-like growths that prevent them from sticking properly. If you have one of these suction cups, please contact our customer service with a photo.

  • How can I specifically increase the carbonate hardness (KH)?

    By adding a liquid KH increaser such as JBL pH-Plus, the pH value is stabilized by increasing the carbonate hardness (KH) and brought to the required target range of 8.0 - 8.4 in saltwater, for example. Stabilization should always be carried out in small steps over several days.

PUSH messages from JBL

What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event outside the context of a website, such as a new blog post, a competition or a voucher.

These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).

Web notifications are part of the W3C standard and define an API for end user notifications. A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event, such as a new blog post, outside the context of a website.
