Revocation instructions

Cancellation Policy

As a consumer you are entitled to a statutory right of revocation. In accordance with § 13 BGB (German Civil Code) any natural person concluding a legal transaction for a purpose that is not primarily connected with their commercial or self-employed professional activity, is a consumer.

Right of cancellation

You have the right to withdraw from this contract without giving reasons within 30 days.

The cancellation period will be 30 days from the day when you or a third party, designated by you, and who is not the carrier, took possession of the final shipment.

To be able to exercise your right of cancellation you must inform us

JBL GmbH & Co. KG
Dieselstraße 3

Germany

Telephone: +49(0)6236-4180-0

Email: shopeu@jbl.de

by means of a clear declaration (e.g. by post, telefax or email) about your decision to withdraw from this contract. For this you can use the attached sample withdrawal form, which, however, is not obligatory.

Proof of despatch of your intention to revoke within the period of revocation is sufficient notice.

Consequences of cancellation

Should you cancel this contract we undertake to reimburse all payments, including the delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs resulting from your choice of a different delivery method than the lowest standard delivery offered by us) immediately and not later than within 14 days from the day when we received the notification of your withdrawal from the contract. For this reimbursement we will use the same means of payment used by you for the initial transaction, unless something to the contrary was expressly agreed. In no event will we charge you separate fees for this reimbursement.

We may refuse the repayment until we have received the returned goods or you have provided evidence that the goods have been despatched, dependant on which occurs first.

You must undertake to return the goods to us immediately or within 14 days at the latest, from the day you gave us notice of the revocation of the contract. The dispatch of the goods by you before the expiry of the period of 14 days constitutes sufficient notice.

You are responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only responsible for any possible loss of value in the goods if this loss of value is deemed to result from a handling which goes beyond what is necessary to ascertain the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Notice

The right of cancellation prematurely expires in accordance with § 312 g (2) BGB (German Civil Code), unless otherwise agreed by the parties,

  • for contracts concerning the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health and hygiene reasons, when the sealing has been removed after delivery;

  • as well for contracts concerning the supply of goods, when they have been mixed with other goods after delivery and this has irreparably altered their nature.

PUSH messages from JBL

What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).

Web notifications are part of the W3C standard and define an API for end user notifications. A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event, such as a new blog post, outside the context of a website.

JBL GmbH & Co. KG provides this service free of charge, and it is easy to activate or deactivate.
