  • How long should you wait after adding Biotopol before adding other products?

    Plant fertilizers such as Ferropol can be added immediately afterwards, as the trace elements susceptible to oxidation are protected by chelators in the fertilizer. In general, we recommend waiting 30-60 minutes before adding any medication.

  • When and how exactly is the water treatment device used?

    If you carry out the partial water change using a bucket, it is simple: always add the dose of water conditioner to the bucket, e.g. for the 10 l bucket contents. However, if you are using a hose, add the dose of water conditioner to the aquarium after siphoning, BEFORE refilling with water. This allows problematic substances in the tap water, such as chlorine or lead, to be bound directly before they can cause damage. However, this method could be fatal for shrimp and invertebrates, as they must NOT come into contact with copper from the tap water. In this case, only the bucket method would be suitable, as the copper in the bucket would be bound by the water conditioner BEFORE it enters the aquarium.

  • JBL Biotopol: My water conditioner is flocculating. Do I need to throw it away?

    There may be several reasons why the water conditioner flocculates. For example, storage at too low a temperature or exposure to atmospheric oxygen over a long period of time, among others. There is no danger to your animals. We recommend shaking the bottle containing the water conditioner well before the next use.

    With Biotopol, the double dose should not be exceeded. Denitrol can be overdosed up to 5 times.

What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event outside the context of a website, such as a new blog post, a competition or a voucher.

These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).

Web notifications are part of the W3C standard and define an API for end user notifications. A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event, such as a new blog post, outside the context of a website.
