  • JBL ProTemp S: Is the basket available as a replacement, or do I need to buy a new heater?

    The protective baskets are available as individual parts. To completely replace the basket, e.g. for the ProTemp S 200 W, you will need: 1 x 6043100 - End piece 1 x 6043200 - Middle short part 1 x 6043300 - Middle long part with one suction cup 1 x 6043400 - Upper part with 2 suction cups All of our dealers should be able to order the replacement parts if they do not have them in stock

  • Why does JBL AquaSil not stick to the background after drying?

    The bond will remain intact as long as the best-before date has not expired. In such cases, it is helpful to clean the areas to be bonded beforehand, for example with acetone.

  • Can I add shrimp to my NanoCube after using JBL AquaSil?

    The acetic acid released reacts with water to form acetates, which do not cause any problems for animals. However, they are broken down by bacteria in the water as an organic source, which can lead to slight bacterial blooms and a associated reduction in oxygen content. However, the decisive factor here is the ratio between the acetates released and the volume of water. In a NanoCube, I would therefore be a little more cautious with the stocking at the beginning. You can prevent this effect by changing 50% of the water every day for a period of about one week. This will ensure sufficient dilution.

PUSH messages from JBL

What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event outside the context of a website, such as a new blog post, a competition or a voucher.

These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).

Web notifications are part of the W3C standard and define an API for end user notifications. A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event, such as a new blog post, outside the context of a website.
