  • Can JBL Clearol cause my fish's gills to stick together?

The active ingredient in JBL Clearol does not stick to the gills of fish. However, the extent to which the substances that are removed are deposited on the surface of the gills is another question. The oxygen content in the water remains unchanged with JBL Clearol.

  • After an accident with the food container, I used Clearol to clarify the water, but the cloudiness has not cleared up. How long can this take?

Clearol works immediately and effectively. The "cloud particles" are bound by flocculation and sink to the bottom. However, if there are too many particles or if the cloudiness has a different cause, Clearol will not be effective.

  • How often can Clearol be used?

Regular use, e.g. once a week, is not advisable and can even be counterproductive, as the active ingredient accumulates in the aquarium and can cause a drop in pH if the KH and pH are not correct. If the cloudiness does not disappear within three days, we recommend using a UV-C clarifier such as the JBL PROCRISTAL UV-C Compact plus 11 W

  • What happens if I don't observe the water values?

Please add the required dose of JBL Clearol to the aquarium in a place with sufficient water movement. This will ensure rapid and even distribution. Before use, it is essential to determine the pH and KH values of your aquarium water, as Clearol may only be used at pH values above 6 and KH values above 5 °dKH (see label). Otherwise, there is a risk of a pH drop.

PUSH messages from JBL

What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event outside the context of a website, such as a new blog post, a competition or a voucher.

These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).
