Unless otherwise recommended in the instructions for use, the simultaneous use of two different medications is not possible and is strongly discouraged. Toxic cross-reactions and undesirable side effects, such as oxygen deficiency or nitrite, cannot be ruled out. If your fish suffer from a primary infection and further secondary infections, always treat the primary infection or the disease with the highest stress factor for the animal. Complete the treatment with the correct dosage according to the instructions for use and only then start with the second medication. After treatment or between two treatments, the aquarium water should be filtered through activated carbon for 24 hours to remove any medication residues. The activated carbon must then be disposed of properly. Any medication is also a stress factor for your fish. Therefore, the animals should not be overburdened and should only be treated after a thorough diagnosis.
No, under no circumstances should a tool be used. Using a tool may cause damage. There is a thin pin at the tip of the needle valve. If the needle valve is closed clockwise and turned too tightly or with a tool, it may break off and damage the pressure control valve
The liquids in one reagent are empty, but the powder is still half full. Can I just buy individual bottles? No, because JBL refill packs always contain all reagents as a set and should be replaced together. There is a reason for this. The reagents age when first opened and should therefore be disposed of completely as soon as one of the reagent bottles is empty. The uneven consumption is due to the fact that some test procedures require an individual number of drops, depending on the value present in the aquarium water. So some need more, others less. The liquids can be emptied completely. With the powder, you cannot remove the required amount if there is only a small amount left at the bottom. The quantity is therefore slightly more generous to ensure that the range is equally guaranteed even with low liquid consumption.
