The JBL Advent Calendar 2021 is up

Ho Ho Ho - the traditional Advent calendar for the myJBL community is up. Behind the 24 doors there are over 180 prizes and additional consolation prizes awaiting everyone taking part. And, supported by her marketing team, Managing Director Stella Kaltenmeier-Böhme 462173 couldn’t resist recording a video for every single door. This year, we are ringing in the start of the Advent Calendar 2021 with a video for you.

And something else: instead of little sayings, recipes or chocolate, in the JBL Advent calendar you’ll find beautiful motifs to download and use as a wallpaper on your smartphone or PC for free. A consolation prize, new every day, for everyone! But that’s not all!

Don't miss out on the chance to open your door every day in the Advent Calendar 2021 . Tell your fellow hobbyists about it too, because it’s worth taking part! All participants from Germany, Austria and Luxembourg who have access to all products in the JBL Shop will receive a 20% voucher as a consolation prize if they haven't won anything by 24 Dec 2021. No one will leave empty-handed. For technical reasons this consolation prize is not possible for participants from the other European countries, but they can, of course, win the prizes behind each door.

We wish you a merry Christmas. Your JBL Team

PUSH messages from JBL

What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).

Web notifications are part of the W3C standard and define an API for end user notifications. A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event, such as a new blog post, outside the context of a website.

JBL GmbH & Co. KG provides this service free of charge, and it is easy to activate or deactivate.
