Holiday time = worry-free aquarium?

Holiday time often spells trouble for aquarium owners: Who will feed? Who will clean the filter? The nice person who will feed the fish is usually the only real problem. Since fish usually appear to be hungry, that person will permanently succumb to that impression and overfeed the fish beyond hope. Only when the holidaymaker returns and the 1-litre container of fish food is empty even though he only has 6 neon fish, does the problem become evident.

Automatic feeders or food portions in individual envelopes with one per day can remedy the problem. The JBL Click dosage dispenser is a truly perfect option that permits the aquarist to give the substitute feeder one clear instruction: 5 fish = 1 x click/10 fish = 2x click. This will prevent overfeeding with all of the unpleasant consequences! The JBL Holiday food is a nice option for a short holiday: The food is contained in a mineral cube (gypsum = calcium sulphate). The fish "work" for their food, as the cube only dissolves when the fish feed, without clouding the aquarium water. The amount of food is enough for a normal communal aquarium or gold fish basin. And if you're only going away over the weekend, you can buy JBL Weekend.

It may interest to know that filters do not need to be cleaned during a holiday! Sufficiently large internal filters like the JBL CristalProfi i 100 can go without cleaning for 5 weeks with no trouble. So, put out the Click dispenser with feeding instructions and enjoy your holiday! It's that simple.

PUSH messages from JBL

What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).

Web notifications are part of the W3C standard and define an API for end user notifications. A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event, such as a new blog post, outside the context of a website.

JBL GmbH & Co. KG provides this service free of charge, and it is easy to activate or deactivate.
