JBL auf der Aqua-Fisch in Friedrichshafen

Am kommenden Wochenende (07.-09.03.2014) erwartet den Aquaristikfan am Bodensee ein besonderes Messehighlight. Zusammen mit JBL veranstalten die Messe und der Dähne-Verlag am Samstag von 15:00-17:00 Uhr ein Live-Scaping von Biotop-Aquarien im Aquaristikforum.

Matthias Wiesensee (JBL) und Philipp Gardemin (Dähne Verlag) werden die Zuschauer mit einbinden und die drei Biotop-Scaper, Benjamin Hamann, Julien Preuß und Adrie Baumann während der Einrichtung interviewen und das noch recht neue Themengebiet erklären. So bekommt das Publikum Informationen von den Profis und auch die Möglichkeit Fragen zu stellen.

Was ist ein Biotop-Aquarium? Die Biotop-Aquaristik hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, natürliche Lebensräume möglichst authentisch nachzubilden bzw. nachzuempfinden und dadurch den Tieren ein optimales Haltungs- und Lebensumfeld zu bieten. Biotop-Aquarien werden deshalb idealerweise mit Fischen besetzt, die auch in der Natur gemeinsam vorkommen und mit Pflanzen und Dekorationsgegenständen eingerichtet, die einem natürlichen Biotop entsprechen. Durch diese Art der Aquariengestaltung und -einrichtung und Nachbildung der natürlichen Parameter – auch durch den Einsatz geeigneter Technik – können die Aquarientiere in höchstem Maße ihr natürliches Verhalten zeigen, sich gesund entwickeln und vermitteln dem Betrachter einen Einblick in die Natur.

Dieses Event ist der Startschuss für den folgenden German Biotope Aquarium Contest 2015 (GBAC), der online jeden „Biotoper“ zum Mitmachen und Ansehen einlädt. Hierzu werden nach der Messe Informationen unter www.biotop-aquaristik.de veröffentlicht werden.

So viel kann vorab bereits verraten werden: Der Einsendezeitraum für die Bilder der Biotop-Aquarien erstreckt sich vom 1. September 2014 bis 31. Januar 2015. In dieser Phase kann jeder Teilnehmer drei bis fünf Bilder von bis zu zwei selbst gestalteten Biotop-Aquarien einreichen. Eine Jury aus international anerkannten Fachleuten und Kennern der Ursprungsbiotope bewertet im Anschluss die Aquarien anhand der Aufnahmen. Die Siegerehrung und Präsentation der Bilder vor großem Messepublikum findet im Rahmen der Aqua-Fisch 2015 in Friedrichshafen statt.

PUSH messages from JBL

What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).

Web notifications are part of the W3C standard and define an API for end user notifications. A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event, such as a new blog post, outside the context of a website.
