JBL manufactures all food, care and remedy products, as well as water tests in its own plant in Neuhofen/Pfalz. Only the manufacturing of technical products has been outsourced, but the assembly and the function control are again carried out in the Neuhofen plant.

Care products
Flüssige Pflegeprodukte werden in 500 oder 1000 l Behältern vorbereitet und dann auf der Abfüllstraße für Flüssigkeiten in die Flaschen gefüllt, verschlossen und etikettiert. Bei JBL Denitrol und JBL FilterStart sowie JBL BactoPond werden spezielle Vorkehrungen getroffen, um auch eine Verunreinigung der nützlichen Reinigungsbakterien in den Produkten durch Luftübertragung zu verhindern, denn die Qualität von Produkten, die lebende Bakterienkulturen enthalten, hängt wesentlich von der Reinheit der Produkte ab. Sobald fremde Bakterien die Kulturen verunreinigen, würden die Produkte nicht mehr wunschgemäß funktionieren. Die Kontrolle der Zusammensetzungen aller Flüssigprodukte findet vor, während und nach der Produktion statt. Viele JBL Produkte werden in Handarbeit verpackt. Dazu zählen z. B. Wassertests, CO2-Anlagen und Testkoffer.

Technical products
Like many other manufacturers of technical products, JBL has transferred the manufacturing of some technical products, such as the filter, to Asia. The component parts are produced and assembled following the specifications of the JBL development department. The functional test of each filter is carried out on site and later an additional quality control takes place at the JBL plant. Due to the close cooperation of the two plants, our high quality standards are ensured despite the long distance.

Accessory products
Most accessory items are assembled and packed by hand because they are too varied in shape for automatic packing to be of advantage.
