  • Turbidity sinks to the bottom and can be siphoned or collected from the filter
  • Tip: clean filter more frequently to remove solid turbidity. Use with pH levels over 6 and KH levels over 5° dKH
  • Contents: 1 bottle Clearol. To use: 10 ml/40 l water.

FAQ
At what intervals can I repeat the application of Clearol?

Regular application, e.g. at weekly intervals, is not advisable here and can even be counterproductive, as the active ingredient accumulates in the aquarium and a sharp drop in pH can occur if the KH and pH are not correct. If the cloudiness does not disappear within three days, we recommend the use of a UV-C clarifier such as JBL PROCRISTAL UV-C Compact plus 11 W

What will happen if I ignore the water values?

Please add the required dosage of JBL Clearol to an aquarium area with sufficient water movement. This enables a fast and even distribution. We strongly recommend you check the pH and KH values of your aquarium water before use, since Clearol may only be used with pH values above 6 and with KH values above 5° dKH (see label). Otherwise there is the risk of a sharp drop in pH.

After a mishap with the food container, I used Clearol to clear the water. How long can that take?

Clearol always acts immediately. The cloudy particles are bound by flocculation and sink to the bottom. However, if there are too many particles or if the cloudiness is due to another cause, Clearol will not be effective.

Can JBL Clearol cause the gills of my fish to stick together?

The active ingredient in JBL Clearol does not cause the gills of fish to stick together. However, the extent to which the precipitating substances are deposited on the surface of the gills is another issue. JBL Clearol does not change the oxygen content in the water.

PUSH messages from JBL

What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).

Web notifications are part of the W3C standard and define an API for end user notifications. A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event, such as a new blog post, outside the context of a website.
