Product information

UV-C water clarifiers help you to remove white and green water clouding quickly, easily and without a hitch. The UV-C radiation with a wavelength of 200-280 nm has a germicidal effect and thus can combat the cause of the clouding (whitish = bacteria/greenish = floating algae). The water of the aquarium or pond is pumped through the UV-C clarifier with a recommended pump performance where the UV-C radiation kills off the germs in the water as it passes through. The water amount flowing through the clarifier therefore needs to be adapted so that it is not too high! There is a table on the packaging to give you information about the right pump size.
Two or more JBL ProCristal UV-C water clarifiers can be connected to each other using the JBL ProCristal UV-C QuickConnect. The performance of the devices add up and the “double device” is then suitable for a higher water amount.

FAQ
How can I extend the performance of the JBL ProCristal UV-C devices?

With the JBL PROCRISTAL UV-C QuickConnect you can join all PROCRISTAL UV-C devices together. It doesn't matter whether they have the same performance.

Can, for example, a 5 W UV-C unit be equipped with an 18 W bulb?

No, unfortunately this is not possible. However, it is possible to connect a second JBL PROCRISTAL UV-C Compact plus unit to a 5 W unit via the JBL PROCRISTAL UV-C QuickConnect.

PUSH messages from JBL

What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).

Web notifications are part of the W3C standard and define an API for end user notifications. A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event, such as a new blog post, outside the context of a website.

JBL GmbH & Co. KG provides this service free of charge, and it is easy to activate or deactivate.
