Product information

Aquariums contain the easiest pets for owners to care for during a weekend or holiday trip! Only very few fish species cannot be fed with commercially available food and will only accept live food.

For a weekend or longer holiday, the aquarium owners have a choice: either feed JBL PRONOVO WEEKEND (for 3 days) or JBL PRONOVO HOLIDAY (for 2 weeks) or use an automatic feeder (JBL AUTOFOOD), which is filled with their preferred food granulate.

Most aquarium fish, excluding juveniles, can even manage without food for a day or two - just like in the wild. But a lot of aquarium owners may feel uncomfortable with this and that's why we have JBL PRONOVO BEL WEEKEND for short absences.

The food blocks in JBL PRONOVO HOLIDAY and WEEKEND are made of a natural calcium compound which slowly dissolves when the fish "nibble" on it.

Bottom-dwelling fish such as armored catfish or loaches also quickly smell the food it contains and then also provide themselves with food when needed. Be careful when you ask neighbours to feed your fish! Most people mean well but massively overfeed! Large amounts of food then lie uneaten on the aquarium floor and spoil. This leads to serious problems with oxygen levels and toxic nitrite, which then builds up. A holiday feeder or an automatic feeder (or aquarists as neighbours) are better!

    Wenn man mal über ein verlängertes Wochenende weg ist, ist dieses Futter eine tolle Alternative.

    Man sollte allerdings aufpassen, dass auch alle Fische das Futter erreichen. Ich habe es nicht direkt auf den Boden gelegt, sondern an der Scheibe befestigt.

    PUSH messages from JBL

    What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

    These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

    To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).

    Web notifications are part of the W3C standard and define an API for end user notifications. A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event, such as a new blog post, outside the context of a website.
