Fishermen in Peru feed their fish with JBL

Wild-caught fish are often very fussy when it comes to their diet. Immediately after being caught, only a few species will eat, and fish exporters are keen for the fish to start feeding again as quickly as possible. This is because, just before dispatch, they are no longer fed due to the water quality in the transport bags. The caught fish therefore need to replenish their energy reserves during the short period of temporary holding before embarking on their long journeys. The major fish exporters in Iquitos, Peru, on the Amazon have discovered the JBL PRONOVO range for this purpose, having received samples following the JBL expedition. They now feed their fish – such as the armoured catfish pictured – with JBL PRONOVO, which is readily eaten by all the fish after an extremely short acclimatisation period.
