JBL launches snails as fish food: JBL PRONOVO SNAIL

It is not only pufferfish that love snails as food, but also many other species of fish such as loaches, barbel catfish, cichlids and even predatory snails. For pufferfish, it is not only the protein-rich snail meat that is essential, but also the hard shell. Their teeth, which have fused together to form a single set of teeth, must be worn down by gnawing on the snail shells; otherwise, deformities will occur. Many fish species are kept thoroughly occupied by these feed snails, as they first have to pull the freeze-dried snail meat out of the shell.

JBL uses a species of giant snail that is found in abundance in its native habitat and is in no way threatened. JBL PRONOVO SNAIL is available in 100 ml tins from specialist retailers.
