As aquarium owner you hear again and again about a “bottom heater” or a “Bodenfluter”. We have explained the purpose of this equipment in this post: JBL launches a new heating cable – warm feet sound good, but not for aquatic plants .
The advantages for the ecosystem aquarium are obvious and the plants benefit from the nutrient circulation. But how do you install this system in your home aquarium? For this it is important that the aquarium is empty. The subsequent installation in an aquarium already in operation is not possible.
